Our verification process is simple, culturally respectful, and centred on self-determination. It’s not about gatekeeping, it’s about protecting mob and making sure identified roles are accessed by the people they’re meant for.
You can verify with a Confirmation of Aboriginality (COA) issued in your own name by a recognised Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisation.
If a parent holds a COA, that may help you apply for your own, but it cannot be used in place of your own confirmation. If you need support, we encourage you to reach out and yarn with us.
Why it matters: Verification protects the integrity of identified roles, keeps employers accountable, and safeguards the intent of our services. It also unlocks priority access to free, tailored support and opens eligibility for targeted funding and development opportunities.
