The Universityof Queensland is seeking an experiencedGeneral Counselto lead one of Queensland’s largest in-house legalservicesteams across a truly diverse range of legal matters.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer,this roleprovidesthe opportunity todeal withhighly topical and relevant issues, across a large breadth of legislation and evolving regulatory requirement.You will regularly engage and advise the University’s senior executive team, providing considered and impartial legal guidance tofacilitateconfident,timelyand defensible decision-making.To achieve this, you will be surrounded with a genuinelyexperienced and high-achievingteam of legal specialists.

Finally, an ability to buildtrust and instil confidence at a senior levelin a short space of time is a critical attribute of our General Counsel.
