About this Expression of Interest
We are looking to hear from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who may be interested in IT, engineering, and field-based work across the Northern Territory.
Our partner does a mix of practical and technical work that helps keep everyday services running. This can include working with computers and IT systems, helping set up or fix equipment, doing field work on sites and buildings, working with cabling and infrastructure, and supporting phone, internet, and network services.
If you have an interest in technology, like hands-on work, or are just curious about this kind of field, this could be something worth having a look at.
Types of work and opportunities
As future programs are designed, there may be different kinds of roles depending on people’s skills, interests, and experience. This could include:
- traineeships,
- internships,
- cadetships,
- graduate roles, or
- other entry-level or experienced positions.
Nothing is locked in yet. This Expression of Interest is about understanding who’s out there and what people are interested in, so things can be designed properly.
Who this is for
This Expression of Interest is open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people at different stages. That might be someone just starting out, someone looking to learn on the job, someone who has already worked in IT, engineering, or field roles, or someone who is interested but not quite sure where they fit yet.
You don’t need qualifications to register your interest.
What happens after you register
Once you register, someone from our team will take the time to read what you’ve shared. If it looks like there could be a good fit, we’ll reach out for a yarn to get to know you a bit better and talk about what you’re interested in.
From there, we may work with you to shape a role that fits your skills, experience, and where you want to head in the future.
Registering your interest doesn’t lock you into anything, and you can choose how you want to engage.

Submissions will be looked at as they come in, so people are welcome to register early.
This Expression of Interest will stay open until 28 March 2026.
