About This Opportunity
A Senior HDR Admissions Officer is a critical member of the Admissions and Scholarships team, serving as a specialist advisor for the next generation of global researchers. You will manage the vital intersection of admissions and scholarships, ensuring that high potential candidates and their advisors receive the expert guidance necessary to navigate the path to enrollment.
This role is ideal for a proactive troubleshooter who thrives on solving complex problems within a high volume environment. You will join a strong, supportive team that values collaboration and professional development, offering a hybrid work arrangement (including one day WFH per week) and opportunities to progress within the Graduate School and the wider University. This is an office based position tailored for those who enjoy deep focus policy work and strategic stakeholder coordination.

About You
You are a resilient and agile professional with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service within a sophisticated institutional structure. Your ability to maintain accuracy and professional diplomacy under pressure makes you a trusted partner to both candidates and academic leaders.
Degree plus relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and training in a complex administrative environment.
Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply complex legislation, policies, and procedures to provide high-level advice.
Outstanding written and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build constructive relationships at all levels of a global institution.
Proven ability to prioritise competing demands and manage resources to hit critical deadlines while working effectively in a team.
High-level computer literacy and the agility to rapidly master new corporate information systems and digital tools.
You must maintain unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this appointment, and may be required to complete background checks including, criminal history checks. Employer sponsored work rights are not available for this appointment.
