Legal Aid NSW helps people with their legal problems. We can help people with most criminal law, family law and every day civil law legal issues. We give legal advice, help at court and do family dispute resolution. We can do this over the telephone or at one of our 28 offices.
Legal Aid NSW has multiple Office Manager roles throughout NSW. The Office Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the daily operations, supporting the legal teams within the office or team. You will work closely with the Solicitor in Charge, legal and administrative staff to coordinate resources, manage office processes and help deliver high-quality services to vulnerable clients across New South Wales.
You will have extensive experience working in a busy and demanding environment, meeting tight deadlines, working collaboratively and managing conflicting priorities effectively.
You will possess strong leadership skills and have the ability to demonstrate interpersonal skills to support the Solicitor in Charge to ensure the requirements of the role are met.
Ideally, you will be someone who considers themselves to be highly organised and systematic in their approach to work. You will be proactive and enthusiastic about taking on varied tasks, in addition to being reliable and transparent in all aspects of your work.
You will be passionate about leading a team to provide a high standard of client centred services, whilst also identifying and supporting the varied learning and development needs and goals of the team.

The essential requirements for this role
· be willing to do a Criminal Record Check
· hold Australian or NZ citizenship, Australian Permanent Residency (for ongoing vacancies) or a valid visa to work in Australia (for temporary vacancies)
