Salary Professional HEW7 $103,603 - $112,144 Pro Rata + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements
Based at the Melbourne CBD campus, and hybrid ways of working
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to RMIT’s equity, diversity and inclusion agenda through data and insight. As Data Analyst – Equity, Diversity & Inclusion, you will work within the Gender Equity & Inclusion team to deliver high-impact analysis that informs policy, programs and accreditation submissions.
Your work will directly support RMIT’s commitments in gender equity, diversity, and gender-based harm prevention by:
Analysing staff and student data across recruitment, retention, progression, and research participation through an intersectional ‘gender +’ lens.
Providing evidence-based insights for senior leadership to guide decision-making and strategy.
Supporting major programs of work including Athena Swan accreditation, Workplace Gender Equality Agency reporting, and Commission for Gender Equality in the Public Service submissions.
Developing reports and visualisations that demonstrate progress towards RMIT’s goals in equity and inclusion.
Partnering with Colleges and Portfolios to co-design analytics that address key challenges and opportunities.
This role offers the chance to see the impact of your work at an organisational level – influencing culture, advancing inclusion, and helping RMIT meet national and international benchmarks.

You enjoy partnering with diverse stakeholders, translating complex information into insights that can influence policy, programs and cultural change.
