About This Opportunity
We are inviting applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow or Research Fellow, with co-design expertise, to join the dedicated research team at UQ’s Queensland Aphasia Research Centre (QARC). QARC is committed to optimising the lives of people living with aphasia through research, service, and partnerships and is the first centre of its kind in Australia. If you are passionate about making a real difference and creating lasting, meaningful impact to the lives of people in our community, this is your chance!
In this role, you will support the Medical Research Future Fund project “Overcoming Systemic Barriers in Aphasia Care with the Aphasia Treatment Translation Network (ATTAIN)” - a $4.8 million initiative that aims to transform post-stroke aphasia care by driving system-wide evidence translation to improve patient outcomes. You will be responsible for leading the co-design and evaluation of an implementation toolkit for speech pathologists who work in the area of post-stroke aphasia, including study initiation processes, project implementation and delivery, and collaborator relationships. This project incorporates principles of implementation science and co-production to work with clinical stakeholders to adapt and evaluate implementation toolkit components.
This opportunity is being offered at Academic Level A or B commensurate with the successful candidate’s qualifications, skills and experience.
Please note, you must maintain unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this appointment to apply (employer-sponsored work rights are not available for this appointment). The successful candidate will also be required complete mandatory immunisations.
