About You
The Lecturer is expected to contribute to the teaching and research efforts of theSchool, in disciplines related to their field of expertise. More specifically, the Lectureris responsible forcarrying out teaching activities within undergraduate,Mastersand Graduate Diploma programs and formaintainingand advancing their scholarly, research and/or professional capabilities. The Lecturer is also expected to actively promote the program byestablishingand maintaining memberships,linksand partnerships with academic, industry and professional communities. The Lecturer is expected to work collaboratively and collegially with fellow academics within the teaching team, and update colleagues and students on developments in their subject area orspecialisation. The Lecturer maybe responsible forcourse coordination.
To be successful in this position,you willhave:
Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver programs at undergraduate and post-graduate levels, including online delivery, and the ability to produce high quality curriculum or program materials
Ability to undertake course coordination role.
Demonstrated capacity to work effectively with and to negotiate sensitively withstudentsespecially on issues related to effective learning.
Emergingtrack recordand recognition for quality research outputs which will contribute to existing Discipline and School research areasevidencedby publications, development of new research initiatives, competitive research funding, and industry links
Demonstrated ability to supervise higherdegreeby research candidates.
Ability to build effective networks with colleagues and generate alternative funding projects through effective liaison with industry and government.
Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement in teaching practice through the use of contemporary pedagogical approaches, learning technologies, and reflective practice.
Evidence of active engagement with academic, professional or industry bodies, including the ability to foster partnerships that enhance teaching, research, or employability outcomes for students
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills appropriate for interacting with higherdegreeby research candidates,staffand industry, together with a strong commitment to teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Preference will be given to candidates that candemonstratea track recordin interdisciplinary research across the School of Accounting Information Systems and Supply Chain.
