As Manager, International Partnerships (Southeast Asia), you will play a critical role in shaping and strengthening RMIT’s international education partnerships, with a primary focus on Singapore and Indonesia. Reporting to the Associate Director, International Partnerships, this role leads the development, governance and commercial management of complex international partnerships, including RMIT’s longstanding partnership with the Singapore Institute of Management (SIM).
You will work closely with Colleges, portfolios and offshore partners to ensure partnerships are strategically aligned, commercially sound, well governed and positioned for growth.
This is a senior relationship-focused role that combines business development, stakeholder engagement, commercial acumen and governance oversight in a highly collaborative, cross-cultural environment.
About You
You are a commercially minded partnership leader with a strong track record in international business development and relationship management. You bring credibility, cultural intelligence and the ability to navigate complex governance and stakeholder environments.
You will also have:
Demonstrated experience managing strategic partnerships, preferably within higher education, government or international business contexts.
Strong commercial and negotiation skills, with experience managing contracts, pricing and risk in complex arrangements.
Proven ability to operate across cross-cultural environments, with strong knowledge of Southeast Asia (particularly Singapore and/or Indonesia).
Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at senior levels.
Strong strategic thinking, paired with the ability to deliver outcomes in a dynamic environment.
