Reporting to the Lead Logistics, the Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the safe, compliant and efficient management of materials, assets, transport, and site services supporting shutdown and project execution. This role ensures components, tooling, hire equipment and logistics services are available when required, while maintaining strong safety, cost and schedule control.
This position is based at the CQO and will be offered on an 8/6 dayshift roster during shutdowns and 5/2 M-F between shutdowns with FILO as an option.
Key responsibilities:
• Coordinate end‑to‑end logistics for shutdowns, including mobilisation, execution and demobilisation of materials, assets and consumables.
• Manage parts and materials including receiving, staging, stocktakes, returns and scoping of at‑risk components.
• Maintain accurate logistics, component, transport and overhaul registers, including timely SAP material and service order transactions.
• Plan and coordinate all transport activities, including heavy haulage and oversize loads, ensuring compliance with BMA and legislative standards.
• Oversee loading, unloading, permits, escorts and freight risk assessments.
• Manage offsite overhauls and vendor engagements to meet schedule requirements.
• Coordinate asset, tooling and hire equipment requirements, including inspections, compliance, on‑hire/off‑hire and post‑shutdown stocktakes.
• Lead logistics safety and compliance activities, including inspections, JSAs, risk assessments and field leadership.
• Coordinate site services and interface with internal stakeholders, vendors and transport providers.
• Provide clear, timely logistics updates, forecasts and risk communications to project leadership.
