As our Senior M365 Engineerfocusing on data governance,you’llchampion enterprise data governance and cybersecurity standards acrosstheMicrosoft 365technology stack, helping keep our community secure, compliant, and future-ready.
You’llpartner with teams across the University to advance and embed best-practice data governance, turning standards into practical, scalable ways of working.
Although these standards may be defined by other teams, such as CISO or the risk team, your experience and ideas will help input and shape these standards; thus,you’ll lead the configuration, maintenance, support, and continuous improvement of RMIT’s Microsoft 365 ecosystem—SharePoint, Purview, OneDrive, Copilot and more. Working across both operations and project delivery within our Level 3 End User Technology team,you’llmake a real impact for staff,studentsand associates worldwide.

- Keep Microsoft 365 compliant with RMIT standards and policies—especially across data governance and cybersecurity—so our platformsremaintrusted and secure.
- Collaborate with RMIT Data & Analytics and Cyber Security to shape, evolve and embed standards for data protection and information management.
- Mandatory–Minimum 5 years in a Microsoft 365 technical role in enterprises – with a specific focus on data management acrossSharepoint, Purview,OneDriveand Copilot.
- Mandatory–Demonstrable experience inidentifyingand implementing technical and process improvements across responsible platforms
